InspireLog follows your system appearance — dark or light, automatically
Switch your iPhone to dark mode and InspireLog switches with it. Switch back to light and it switches back. No setting to find, no toggle to flip — it just follows whatever you've already chosen for your phone.
How to switch
Your system appearance setting lives in two places:
- Settings → Display & Brightness — tap Light or Dark to set it permanently.
- Control Center — press and hold the brightness slider to toggle appearance without leaving your current app.
- Automatic (sunrise/sunset) — in Display & Brightness, turn on Automatic and your phone shifts to dark at sunset, back to light at sunrise. InspireLog follows that too.
What changes
Every surface in the app adapts — conversations, settings, onboarding, the today widget on your lock screen. In dark mode you get deep warm browns and muted rose tones that are easy on the eyes at night. In light mode the same palette shifts to warm creams and softened mauve that read clearly in daylight.
The colors aren't just inverted — they're tuned for each mode separately so the contrast ratios and warmth feel right in both.
Why there's no in-app toggle
Your iPhone already has a great appearance control — one that works system-wide, can follow sunrise and sunset, and lives somewhere you already know. Adding a second toggle inside InspireLog would just be a weaker, less convenient copy of something iOS already does well.
We'd rather make the system integration seamless than give you more settings to manage.
InspireLog adapts to how you use your phone — not the other way around.
