Built for the years without a map
InspireLog started with a conversation that went badly. A younger sister asking what she should do with her life, an older brother with real answers to give — and none of them landing, because he didn't actually understand where she was standing.
That's the gap we're building into. Not another place to ask questions — a presence that knows you well enough for its answers to mean something. We call it 知己: "inspire" plus "log."
Knowing beats advising
Good advice that isn't grounded in your actual situation doesn't land — we learned that the hard way. Understanding one person deeply is worth more than being right in general.
Honest over comfortable
An AI that flatters you is worst exactly when you most need direction. We'd rather build something that says the uncomfortable true thing than something people enjoy more and trust less.
Your life stays yours
Being known requires telling something a lot about yourself. That only works if the trust is warranted, so we keep what we can on your device and collect less than we could.
Talent welcome.
If what we're building excites you, say hi.
